Service Description
You asked for it, so we're offering it! An immersive outdoor workshop for grown-up kids, offering a chance to come together, learn practical out door skills, while anchoring into a meaningful connection to ourselves, each other, and the more-than-human world. We honor that everyone is a learner, and we all have ways to teach each other in community spaces. This workshop is for all levels, but is aimed at "beginners" or folks who would like to go over some basic skills. Our aim is to connect, learn together, and have fun. This is a 1 day, 4 hour workshop covering a lot of skills which will help you engage meaningfully in the outdoors. This will cover: - Mindfulness/Sit Spot Practices - Knot tying & Shelter Building - Local Flora & Fauna Species ID - Fire Starting - Community building with other like-minded adults - Connecting with the more-than-human world - Finding natural spaces in your backyard to practice these skills
